Since the 1990s, RATP has been involved in the development of tram lines both in Paris and in its outskirts. An excellent example of transport being integrated into an urban environment, trams are providing a new solution for travel within the Greater Paris area. The tram network continues to expand, with existing lines being extended and new ones being created.
