Creation of a dedicated bus lane from Pompadour to Sucy-Bonneuil
The first phase of a link between Villejuif and Sucy–Bonneuil, the Pompadour • Sucy–Bonneuil section is a dedicated bus lane.
Stretching from the Pompadour crossroads to the Sucy • Bonneuil RER station, the line will pass through the towns of Créteil, Valenton, Bonneuil-sur-Marne and Sucy-en-Brie. With entry into service scheduled for mid-2011, this new line will:
- Serve a 6.5 km route
- Have 9 new stations and 1 terminal
- Run a bus every 5 minutes at peak times
- Facilitate connections with the TVM bus network, the RER A and D and metro line M8 at the forthcoming Créteil-Parc des Sports station.
The journey time between Pompadour and Sucy will be reduced to 18 minutes from the current 27 minutes.
The project is being funded by the French Government, the Ile-de-France Region, the General Council of Val-de-Marne and the RATP.
