To meet its customers’ expectations, RATP is expanding its presence on social networks with the creation of Twitter accounts. RATP now provides passengers, journalists and institutional stakeholders with individualised information in real time.
RATP Group Twitter account:
The official account of the RATP press relations service, which is the key media, BtoB and institutional contact point, gives real-time updates on all the Group’s news.
Twitter accounts for RATP lines:
Active every day from 6am to 9pm (covering more than 95% of passengers), RATP line accounts provide followers with: - real-time travel and traffic information
- details of work in progress (renovation, extensions, etc.)
- events affecting travel (sports events, exhibitions, cultural events, etc.)
- events organised on the lines (Heritage Days, Top chefs, etc.).

Twitter Tramway accounts:
How Twitter accounts for RATP lines are kept updated?
These accounts are run by RATP employees working within the Network Control Centre, which oversees RATP’s metro, bus, tramway and RER networks. These Tweeters have access to real-time traffic monitoring and information on any significant disruption to services.
How can I follow these accounts and get access to the information?
Simply go to the Twitter website: http://twitter.com/, and log in or create an account. Once you have signed in, just "follow" the metro and tram lines that matter to you to gain access to online updates.
