RATP GroupRATP intends to be one of the five world leaders of public transport urban systems. RATP GroupIt will go on developing in France and worldwide outside the historical
frame. RATP rests in particular on its subsidiary company RATP
Développement, which uses selective, voluntary, transversal and
cost-effective strategy. 2008 witnessed numerous contracts and success, which led in January, 2009 to an alliance with Veolia Transport in Asia, complementary to the strategic alliance with Transdev. RATP is a 25% shareholder of Transdev alongside the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations. RATP aims for its subsidiary companies a turnover of nearly one billion euros in 2013, vs. a quarter billion in 2007.This strong increase implies an offensive development strategy for each
subsidiary company, which will answer more often to invitations to
tender, make more purchases, build more new partnerships, while
ensuring a sufficient ROI so as to make development permanent. RATP Dev is located in more than 30 cities
