, Champs-Élysées-Clemenceau station is an ideal stop for travelling to and from the museums, theatres, avenues and gardens in the vicinity. For the comfort of its 15,000 daily passengers, the station has been reconfigured with the addition of an entrance/exit on Avenue du Général Eisenhower, directly outside the Grand Palais building, thereby improving connections with the local area towards Avenue Franklin Roosevelt, Palais de la Découverte, Théâtre du Rond-Point and as far as Avenue Montaigne.
A more modern and practical station
The station interior has been reconfigured and modernised to make way for the new entrance/exit and to ease passenger flow. The improvement programme has included a redesigned ticket hall, new equipped walkways and a new escalator, while the information desk and ticket gatelines have been relocated and replaced. The two retail outlets have been remodelled and will reopen in a few months. Public toilets have also been installed.
