Paris Plages from 9 July to 21 August 2022

The beach comes to Paris in the heart of summer, on the Rives de Seine park and and the banks of the Bassin de la Villette. Don’t miss out on the varied free activities on offer, notably the concerts given by our metro musicians!

Paris Plages is back from 9 July. The programme gives pride of place to free cultural and sporting activities: exhibitions, sports lessons, games to try, an outdoor library, etc.

You can relax in a deckchair in the shade of a parasol on the banks of the Seine (city centre) and the Bassin de la Villette (19th arrondissement).

On the banks of the Seine:

With books and comics on loan as well as giant games, table football and water misting systems, outdoor libraries allow the youngest visitors to have fun while staying cool. And for adults, tai chi, Swedish gymnastics and pétanque classes are on offer.

Opening hours: every day, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
