From Dubai to Paris
To mark the city-themed week at the Expo 2020 Dubai, Art Explora will be showcasing works by internationally renowned French artists who are exploring the place of ecosystems in the urban environment. All the works will be exhibited simultaneously at Expo 2020 Dubai and on the Paris metro network, on the platforms of Palais-Royal – Musée du Louvre station on metro lines and
for seven days (from 3 to 9 November).

An original olfactory work of art
To mark the occasion, the olfactory work ‘Hybris’, created by artist Morgan Courtois in collaboration with perfumer Céline Barel, will be distributed to passengers on the network operated by RATP for Île-de-France Mobilités at Palais-Royal – Musée du Louvre station on the afternoons of 5 and 7 November. It will also be distributed to the public at the French Pavilion in Dubai.
The ‘Autres Habitants’ exhibition brings together the work of eight French artists: Cécilia Bengolea, Hicham Berrada, Alex Cecchetti, Gaëlle Choisne, Morgan Courtois, Mimosa Echard, Laure Prouvost and Achraf Touloub. The artists were given carte blanche on the theme of sustainable cities to reflect the major environmental challenges facing cities today and in the future. See below:

In addition to its role as a transport operator, RATP is using its heritage and cultural activities to enrich the transport experience of its passengers by providing a large collection of permanent and ephemeral artworks, which are displayed in roughly 100 Paris metro stations.
