RATP and Women's Handball: RATP Group's Commitment
Launched 18 years ago during the 2007 World Championship in Paris, and extended until May 31, 2025, the partnership between RATP and the French Handball Federation (FFHandball) reaffirms the company’s support for the development of women’s handball. This commitment also directly reflects the expertise of RATP in addressing its key challenges:
- Providing transport solutions, such as the official RATP bus for the French team;
- Creating public-facing events offering visibility to women’s handball and its players;
- Increasing the representation of women at RATP through themed recruitment initiatives (Handball Wednesdays).
This position as a transport provider, embedded in the life of the French women’s handball team and committed to supporting them, makes RATP the #1 Fan of the Bleues.
It is with pride that RATP Group supported and celebrated the victory of the French women's handball team at the Paris 2024 Olympics, as they became Olympic silver medalists on August 10, 2024!
