The tram line T1 stop Gare de Noisy-le-Sec has been temporarily moved

RATP teams will reconfigure the Gare de Noisy-le-Sec stop for tram line T1 to continue the tram line T1 extension work to Val de Fontenay

The work will demolish the existing tram terminus at Noisy-le-Sec RER station to build a larger and better equipped stop that will become a mid-line tram stop when the work is completed in late 2025. The new stop will eventually allow direct access to the RER station to facilitate connections and streamline passenger flows.
The tram will continue to operate throughout the work period and a temporary stop has been installed near the RER station on pont Galliéni.

  • March 2022: opening of the temporary stop
  • April > June 2022 - demolition of the original stop
This will take place in two stages:
    > removal of street furniture, the passenger information system and signage.
    > demolition of the infrastructure: removal of the platform and tracks.
  • 2022 > 2024 - construction of the new st
The stop will be situated next to the RER station. The platforms will be longer to accommodate the new rolling stock and more spacious to provide more comfort for passengers.
  • 2024 - commissioning of the stop
Passengers and local residents will be able to discover their new stop in the town centre with its multi-modal connections hub. It will remain the temporary terminus of tram line T1 pending completion of the extension work.
  • Late 2025: line extension
The Gare de Noisy-le-Sec stop will no longer be the terminus and will become a mid-line station. Tram line T1 will cross the town of Noisy-le-Sec and first continueto Montreuil, and then Fontenay-sous-Bois at a later date.
