2015 – 2021: Line closure calendar

To conduct the track and ballast replacement work while minimising passenger inconvenience, RATP plans to completely close the stations affected by the construction work each summer until 2021.

To conduct the track and ballast replacement work while minimising passenger inconvenience, RATP plans to completely close the stations affected by the construction work each summer until 2021 as follows:

  • Between 2015 and 2018, traffic will be totally halted on certain sections during 4-week periods, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During these periods, service will remain fully operational on either side of the sections closed for construction.
  • Between 2019 and 2021, traffic will be totally halted at night and week-ends, during 7-9 week periods. Service will be provided on the most heavily used links between Paris and the suburbs during morning and evening rush hours..
