t+ ticket

Do you want to travel on the metro, the RER in Paris, the bus, and certain tram lines? Then the t+ ticket is made for you.

The t+ ticket allows you travel on metro lines (except Aéroport d’Orly station on metro line 14), RER lines (zone 1), Île-de-France bus routes (except Orlybus and Roissybus), tram lines (except T11, T12 and T13) and the Montmartre funicular.

It can be loaded onto the Navigo Easy travel card and on phones.


Once validated, the t+ ticket allows you make as many connections as you wish

  • Metro/metro, RER/RER and metro/RER in Paris for 1½ hours from the time you validate your entry to the network (without leaving the network)
  • Bus/bus (including between the RATP and OPTILE networks) for 1½ hours between the first and last validation
  • Bus/tram and tram/tram (excluding express tram lines T11, T12 and T13) for 1½ hours between the first and last validation

Each time you change buses or trams, you must validate your t+ ticket again (you cannot make a return journey on the same route using the same t+ ticket, nor can you interrupt your journey, i.e., get off the bus and then on again to continue your journey on the same bus route).

Metro/RER and bus/tram connections are not included.
 

What specific rules apply?

When you travel on a Noctilien bus:

  • 1 journey requires validation of 1 t+ ticket for 2-digit routes and route N135.
  • 1 journey requires validation of 2 t+ tickets for all other routes.
    Connections are allowed between two Noctilien buses. You must validate when making each connection.

Please note that your Navigo Easy travel card or your phone cannot simultaneously contain:

  • Full-fare t+ tickets and reduced-fare t+ tickets
  • t+ tickets and an Aéroport Orly ticket.

Who is eligible for a reduced fare?

  • Children aged 4 to 9
  • Solidarité Transport discount cardholders
  • Holders of blue “large family” cards issued by SNCF (t+ books only)
  • Disability/CMI cardholders with an additional note “Blind: requires caregiver”
  • Holders of ONAC cards with one blue stripe
  • Caregivers of a disability/CMI cardholder without any additional note 
  • Groups of at least 10 young people aged under 16 and their accompanying adult* or secondary school students, including final year students, travelling in groups of 10 and accompanied by a teacher*. This reduction is not valid on buses and trams. The accompanying adult must carry a duly completed signed statement.
  • Groups of a minimum of 8 children and their accompanying adult** travelling on school, extracurricular and after-school outings organised by primary schools or leisure centres hosted by these schools. The accompanying adult must carry a duly completed signed statement.

* The teacher or accompanying adult also benefits from half-fare travel. For larger groups, an additional accompanying adult is allowed per 10 additional young people or fraction thereof.
** The accompanying adult also benefits from half-fare travel. For larger groups, an additional accompanying adult is allowed per 8 additional young people or fraction thereof.
