Ideal for : youth under age 26 in an "access to employment" programme
How does it work ?
If you are under age 26 and in an "access to employment" program, you are eligible to receive mobility vouchers (chèques mobilité).
Mobility vouchers allow the bearer to purchase tickets and travel passes of their choosing (except Solidarité Transport travel passes, on-board bus tickets, and tourist tickets). With a value of €4 or €8, these vouchers are simply exchanged for tickets, but no change will be returned on any remaining value. They are accepted at RATP and SNCF Transilien ticket desks.
How do I apply?
Vouchers are issued by the local information office or PAIO (Permanence d'Accueil d'Information et d'Orientation) near your place of residence.
Who is eligible for free public transport?
Youth in the 16 to 25 age group participating in a regional public service training program for access to employment, Avenir Jeunes, skills development programs, and second-chance schools are eligible to use public transport at no cost.
Throughout the duration of their training programs, they are eligible for a free travel pass covering the entire Île-de-France region (equivalent to a zone 1-5 Navigo travel pass), and which is loaded on their Navigo travel card.
Where do I apply for a free travel pass?
At the beginning of your "access to employment" program, the training institution will indicate the procedures to follow.
