01. How does it work ?

If you are under age 26 and in an "access to employment" programme, you are eligible to receive mobility vouchers (chèques mobilité).

Mobility vouchers allow the bearer to purchase tickets and travel passes of their choosing (except Solidarité Transport travel passes, on-board bus tickets, and tourist tickets). With a value of 4€ or 8€, these vouchers are simply exchanged for tickets, and no change is returned on the residual value. They are accepted at RATP and SNCF Transilien ticket desks.

How do I apply?
Vouchers are issued by the local mission or PAIO (Permanence d'Accueil d'Information et d'Orientation) near your place of residence.

02. Who is eligible for free public transport?

Youth in the 16 to 25 age group participating in a regional public service "access to employment" training programme, Avenir Jeunes, skills development programmes, and second-chance schools are eligible to use public transport at no cost.

Throughout the duration of their training programme, they are eligible for a free travel pass covering the entire Île-de-France region (equivalent to a 1-5 zone Navigo travel pass) which is loaded on their Navigo travel card.

Where do I apply for a free travel pass?
At the beginning of your "access to employment" programme, the training facility will indicate the procedures to follow.
