Procedure and FAQ
RATP has chosen to associate itself with a comprehensive Open Data approach, which the French government has initiated with its Etalab mission, along with certain other local governments and administrations, by making some of its data accessible and usable by all.
In this way, RATP is seeking to enable third parties, notably developers and entrepreneurs, to use certain data pertaining to its public transport activity, so that they may imagine new ways of using and enhancing the value of open data, to create new and ever more innovative mobile services and applications.
Thanks to this open data approach, RATP is helping to facilitate the lives of the 10 million passengers who use the Île-de-France networks daily.
In line with the challenges of the 21st century, RATP is participating in the modernisation of public services.
