The RATP license promotes the broadest reuse of maps; however, it does not authorise the suppression of certain graphic elements. Passengers are familiar with the colour codes and signage used on RATP maps. This free license thus ensures that passengers will continue to find the visual cues they are accustomed to, regardless of the application or mobile service that is involved.
