How it works

The Navigo Gratuité concession card is valid for three months (subject to the renewal of social benefits) across network zones.
The card is valid from 0:00 a.m. on the first day to 11:59 p.m. on the last day of the subscribed period.

The Navigo Gratuité concession card can be renewed in the week prior to its expiry, once the beneficiary’s status has been verified.

Every time a Navigo Gratuité subscription is renewed, Agence Solidarité Transport will send a letter to the beneficiary’s last known address, confirming their entitlement to benefits. The beneficiary will then need to go to a ticket desk or ticket machine to renew the entitlement on their Navigo card.

Where to sign up

Once you have obtained your travel concession entitlement from Agence Solidarité Transport, you can load it at any of our ticket desks and ticket machines.

The Navigo Gratuité subscription is loaded on the Navigo card at the same time as the concessionary travel entitlement.

  • Monthly and weekly subscriptions,
  • Metro-Train-RER tickets,
  • Bus-Tram tickets,
  • Paris Region <> Airports tickets,

And entitlements to Navigo Liberté + subscriptions as a reduced-fare user.

How it works

State medical aid (AME) recipients have to register with Agence Solidarité Transport, by providing a copy of their AME card.

Once their identities have been verified, the entitlement to reduced fares will be granted for a duration ranging from 1 to 12 months, depending on when their benefits expire. The entitlement can subsequently be renewed under the same conditions with Agence Solidarité Transport.

With the renewal, beneficiaries can load their concessions at our ticket desks and ticket machines, and then purchase their reduced-fare travel cards with proof of entitlement.

During inspections, beneficiaries of the 50% discount who use 50% discounted tickets with magnetic strips also have to produce their Navigo travel cards, on which they have loaded their concession entitlement.
