Ticketing revolution 2025 – Simplified fare structures

As of 1 January 2025, Île-de-France Mobilités will be significantly modifying public transport tickets and pricing across the Île-de-France region. Here are the main changes.

Summary

  1. Two new tickets for all user categories
  2. Navigo Liberté + covering the Île-de-France region
  3. New Paris Region <> Airports tickets
  4. Other changes

Two new tickets for all user categories

As of 1 January 2025, two new tickets will be sold:

  • The Metro-Train-RER ticket: at a flat fare of €2.50 (€1.25 for reduced-fare tickets), it allows travel on metro, train and RER lines across the Île-de-France region (excluding airport metro and RER stations).
  • The Bus-Tram ticket: at a flat fare of €2.00 (€1.00 for reduced-fare tickets), it allows travel on bus routes and tram lines (excluding tram lines T11, T12, and T13) across the Île-de-France region (excluding OrlyBus and RoissyBus).

These new tickets can be loaded onto:

  • Navigo Easy travel passes,
  • Smart phones/smart watches.

Note

- The Metro-Train-RER ticket cannot be loaded onto a medium that already contains a t+ ticket or a Paris Region <> Airports ticket.

- If your journey includes connections between the metro and bus networks, you will need to purchase and validate two tickets: one Metro-Train-RER ticket, and one Bus-Tram ticket.

(*) Tip: Such connections are free when you have a Navigo Liberté + travel pass!

Navigo Liberté + covering the Île-de-France region

As of 1 January 2025, Navigo Liberté + passes can be used across the Île-de-France region.

Travel freely with Navigo Liberté +, without the need to purchase your tickets in advance, and while enjoying lower fares. Prices per journey are:

  • Trips to airports on OrlyBus, RoissyBus, metro line 14 to Orly airport station, or RER line B to Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle station will be charged separately, at €13 per journey, on top of the daily limit.

Navigo Liberté + travel passes can only be loaded on personalised Navigo passes (with your given name, surname and photograph).
Every month, your completed journeys will be counted, and the full amount will be debited from your account the following month. If you do not make any journeys, you will not be charged for anything.
