Visiting Paris

Prepare your stay in Paris and discover our services

We are dedicated to providing you with the best possible travel conditions. For this reason, we have made several amenities and services available to you, to make your life easier.

Lifts

For over 30 years, RATP Group has been committed alongside Île-de-France Mobilités to ensuring that its network is accessible to all: whether you are carrying cumbersome items, an elderly person, travelling with children, or disabled, lifts and wider gates are available when entering paid-access areas. In addition, our staff is trained to assist people with reduced mobility: 100% of our staff on the rail network (metro and RER) is certified by Cap’Handéo Services de mobilité.

> Before your journey, you can check online to see which lifts are in service on any given line:

  • View the list of water fountains in our stations and public fountains located close to our metro and RER stations. Numerous businesses in Paris allow you to drink their water or use it to fill up your water bottle. Find them using the map filters either from the itinerary search tool or the neighbourhood maps.
