t+ tickets
Are you planning to travel across various lines, such as metro lines, RER lines in Paris, bus routes in the ÎIe-de-France region (excluding Orlybus and Roissybus), tram lines and the Montmartre funicular? Then t+ tickets are what you need!
Please note that t+ tickets are valid only on segments of the RER network running in Paris.
T+ tickets are valid for a single journey, and they allow transfers between metro and RER lines, and between bus and tram routes, but not transfers between metro/RER and bus/tram networks.
Once you have validated a t+ ticket, you will be able to make as many transfers as you wish (metro/RER or bus/tram) within 90 minutes (between the first and last time the ticket is validated), but you may not make return trips on the same line.
Sets of 10 t+ tickets are exclusively available on Navigo Easy travel cards and on smart phones.
Passengers have to use individual valid tickets. Multiple passengers are not allowed to share the same Navigo Easy travel card or use tickets on the same smart phone.
Point-to-Point tickets (Origine-Destination)
Are you planning to travel outside Paris? Would you like to visit the Palace of Versailles, admire the business district at La Défense, or spend a day at Disneyland Paris?
Then Origine-Destination single-trip tickets (also known as Île-de-France tickets) are what you need! With them, you can travel on RER, metro, and SNCF networks for occasional journeys outside Paris, or travel between stations in the ÎIe-de-France region (suburb-suburb and suburb-Paris).
Origine-Destination single-trip tickets do not allow travel on bus and tram networks.
Airport tickets
Are you planning to travel to Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle Airport (CDG) or Orly Airport (ORY)? Then airport tickets are what you need!

Validating tickets
Regardless of the travel ticket you are using (including subscriptions), remember to validate every journey, when you enter the metro, RER, bus and tram networks, and every time you see a card reader during your journey (including transfers between bus and tram routes).
Validate your ticket simply by tapping your ticket (on a card with a chip or on a smart phone) on the reader. If you are using a paper ticket, insert it into the slot reader.
If you were unable to purchase your travel ticket before boarding the bus or tram, you can download either the Île-de-France Mobilités* or Bonjour RATP** mobile app, which allows you to purchase tickets on your smart phone.
Do you require assistance? Were you unable to purchase your ticket in advance?
